Our Purpose

Phi Chi Theta is a national co-ed professional fraternity in business and economics, established in Chicago in 1924 by six women from rival business fraternities. With over 23,000 members nationwide, PCT is dedicated to developing professional leadership skills, fostering a supportive network, and promoting business education. The fraternity emphasizes values, codes, and professionalism, aiming to enhance skills, create valuable business opportunities, encourage cooperation, and stimulate dedication among members preparing for successful business careers.

 In May 2023, Queena Huang and Rishita Dwivedi reached out to Nationals with the vision of bringing Phi Chi Theta to UC Davis. After working with Nationals and UC Davis and recruiting members of the founding Alpha Class, the Eta Epsilon Chapter was officially established in September 2024. That fall, the Alpha Class hosted the chapter’s first rush, setting the foundation for our future. 

 At UC Davis, the Eta Epsilon chapter, PCT is the only business focused professional fraternity on campus, open to all majors. We provide students with opportunities to build lasting connections, align personal career goals with entrepreneurship and business, and develop essential professional skills in a collaborative, brotherhood-driven environment. 

As our very first year as an official chapter comes to a close, we couldn’t be more grateful to end it with Chapter of the Year at the Sorority and Fraternity Life Awards. Thank you to SFL for giving us the opportunity to attend and for all the support you’ve shown us throughout this journey. What started as just an idea has become a home, a family, and a place full of ambition and heart. Thank you to every single member who believed in Phi Chi Theta Eta Epsilon and poured so much into building this from the ground up. This award isn’t just a recognition, it’s a reminder of how far we’ve come and how much further we’ll go together. Here’s to the end of an unforgettable first year, and the beginning of so much more.
